For any recent joiners to the Doncaster Rovers culture.......... don't panic!

This is the Doncaster way - all will work itself out eventually and we shall emerge again... eventually..

In which case surely you'd love an incompetent bunch to be running the club into the ground and taking us back there ASAP

You know. We are where we are in the football world. Decent League One side, potential to be a decent championship side. Well run. And to be honest, although it stinks right now that McCann is gone, it’s a credit to the club, who chose well all things considered.

Thanks PDX -- nice to see some common sense and perspective at last. Like you I live in the colonies, but on the right coast. Maybe our geographical separation enables us to see the bigger picture as we glance across the Atlantic. I've been logging on today to keep abreast of the news, and have instead witnessed a virtual Shakespearean tragedy unfolding amongst our fans! One expects WUM nonsense, but even our more measured and mature members are screaming betrayal, and such stuff. Logging on to ifollow each Saturday for the past two years has been fantastic and has enabled me to compare the awful dirge served up weekly by DF in 2017/18, and the joyful soccer served up by Grant in 2018/19! So thanks for providing some of the most scintillating football I've ever seen from a Rovers team, Grant McCann -- in that brief year you became a Rovers legend. I'm sure your successor will build upon your attacking tradition, and the good football foundations earlier laid down by SOD. We are lucky to have such a far seeing and competent board, who will get us back into the Championship soon for the long term.
