Butler's here.

pure speculation here but could he be on the shortlist?

Doubt it. He lives within heading distance, what else is he gonna do on a Tuesday night?

Impressed with Halliday, looks like he could be what we’ve been missing.

The other new lads too early to say.

Yeah you can't take much from a game like that but Halliday has some good control of the ball and drives forward well.

Rosso put a decent performance on, they had a 16 year old playing right back who looks like he could be a decent player, also the keeper in the second half kept the score respectable.
Enjoyed the second half we look as though we have some decent players coming through

What was the trouble about? Could see punches being thrown at the end between supporters

If you’re referring to McLean and Blaney, they’re u23 players, no more than that.

Kiwomya and Sadlier looked the most dangerous forwards, prompted by some great through balls from Crawford in the second half, Kiwomya looking to have pace to burn, and much stronger than in the past.
Both new full backs looked good players in the first half, and Rossington  did put a good defensive show on. neither of our goalkeepers in each half were tested really, it was a good run out, the pitch looked very good, and there was a good turn out for the game, and hopefully Rossington made a few bob on the night.

We played Rosso 3 years ago and won 4-0. This time we won 3-0. Alfie May, then an own goal, and a cracker from Max Watters. It was a nice night and no sign of a new manager.

Rosso's no 10 (a small guy with dreadlocks)  was always willing to get stuck in. Well done to him.

Might have been my 11 Yr old lad. He came back and said a 5 Yr old rosso lad was trying to round house him all night.

I thought Watters and Longbottom posed more problems up top, with Kiwomya almost anonymous. Second half midfield was, really, Crawford and Sadlier, as Prior, once again, struggled to make any sort of impact.

First game and very early days, so a useful shake the cobwebs off sort of game. But, the player who stood out for me, was Halliday. There is plenty of room for these new players, whoever they are.

One final comment, Wright looked really good first half, but level of opposition taken into account, I think this season could be a massive season for him. We definately need another one to add to Wright and Anderson, hopefully left sided.

I'm fervently hoping that's not one of your perverted euphemisms.

If Marquis goes we need to sign this lad own goal. Joint leading goalscorer after one game.
