It’s the nature of the game these days - managers are fired in the blink of an eye so you can’t expect any loyalty really the other way. If it’s to take over at Newcastle then you can’t really blame him - chance to manage in the PL again, plus it’s his boyhood club isn’t it? It’s like one of us quitting at Cheltenham on the eve of the season to take over at Rovers.

I’ve no issue with McCann leaving to take the Hull job, nor would I have an issue with Moore leaving after this year if he was successful, it’s the fact that he span such hypocritical b*llocks to the press about loyalty and only wanting players who wanted to be here etc before leaving.
