Well folks, as it stands it looks like this season's winner is to be shared three ways, with keepmoatman, Wild Rover and Colemans Left Hook sharing the crown. Of course, this is open to discussion if anyone feels there is a better solution to bring the contest to a conclusion.

Like Peterboroughs Chairman who was convinced that if the fixtures had been completed that they would (he felt) have finished second and got Promoted - I really thought that had this Competition been played to a conclusion I felt I was on the point of a purple patch and would have surged upwards and possibly won by two clear points

In truth - though it isnt the perfect ending I think you have no choice but to declare the Season over (as its PvO for Rovers games) rather than look for another solution and go with your "conclusion" above.  No point agonising and lets face it there are many other things to worry about at the moment.

Hard luck Peterborough (lol) and hard luck me and everyone else who were just about to make a successful run "down the Standside"
