I’m sure Bournemouth would’ve wanted to keep hayter, it was evident we would have loved to keep marquis, mills, wellens, Sharp etc

There have been fees for others of course but I wouldn't say many of them were regulars at their previous clubs. Obviously our record signing wasn't a regular at the club Rovers bought him from.

To be honest, if we're going by that criteria strictly then it is Reece James. He made over 30 appearances last season for Sunderland and they've replaced him with a youth team graduate.

Exeter. And yes, I think he was their captain.

Started off at Exeter. Wolves then signed him for a fee and he came to us when his Wolves contract expired.
