Lincoln Match COWley reckons it should have been an UDDER result
he reckons they were the better team and should have won 3 penalties for shackel tyler and the last one Bruno (might be something in that)

Reckons they had complete control of until the goal (he praised it like hell) he's doing a lot of um's (thinking of excuses)

"significantly the better team he says "

"referee has massively cost us today "

excuses ... excuses excuses

will post a link when it comes on line.

They probably deserved the draw. I’m still trying to work out how they didn’t get a pen for CJs foul late on. Looked inside the bins from where I was sat in the East stand. Happy it wasn’t tho!

The foul started about 5 yards outside the area that's why

There were 2 very big shouts for handball in and near the 18 yard box that went against us.

They did more than their fair share of diving, which may have influenced the ref.

Indeed, throw yourself to the floor a lot and itll feel like you're fouled.  Certainly the Walker one at south end was no contact at all.

Lincoln would have given Tom Dailey a run for his money today  you can see why they get so many penalties maybe the Refs are getting wise.

But did the foul continue into the box? If it did, then it should have been a pen.. Only saying!

They had two dive attempts to get pens in the first half.
Difficult for me to see he ones at the North end from where I sit.

I wonder how Lincoln only had one player booked though.
Ennis was dragged to the ground three times by number 16 but when he did the same thing back just before HT he got booked.(He may have said something to the ref about it though).

The Ref did not apply the rules correctly and consistently

When Ennis was dragged back early in first half 30 yeards ffom Goal the Ref gave a Free Kick. However a holding back in any position is a Yellow Card. Result no Card given

As you said when Ennis did the same 80 yards from goal he virtually rugby tackled their bloke and was rightly booked.

So the Ref got one of 2 right.

Always had a bit of respect for.the Cowleys but they certainly don't have the decorum of our Manager. Sour grapes anyone!!

I've always placed them in the same camp as the Cotterill's and Westley's of this world and I've seen nothing in the last couple of years to make me change my mind.

Totally agree with the Wesley/Cotterill comparison.  Horrible little town, horrible little club.

How did the dive at the South stand box not warrant a yellow card, ridiculous!

I bet he didn't have a go at the Ref, when their injured player was allowed to stay on the field after treatment .

Especially as they had a free kick in a dangerous position.

Very inconsistent ref as we didn't get an even award of soft fouls and he failed to use his yellow card properly.

because the rule is you can stay on the field following a yellow card if not too long with treatment, same as Cameron John was allowed to carry on later in the half

Rise above lads, rise above.

Cowley can spend all Satdi night sticking pins in his knackers and whining. We can look at the result.

How Bostwick wasn’t booked for hauling Ennis down in the first half I don’t know. And all the overreacting from good, solid tackles, embarrassing. Hopefully officials start to get wise to it.

....... like the 50/50 by Sterling and the Lincoln player in the last few minutes.
The Lincoln player pretended to be hurt and got Sterling booked.

Watched Lincoln away at Everton last season in fat cup, pre match Cowley said he had a plan for every quarter of the game, turns out his plan was for players to feign injury to slow game down, it was embarrassing and very obvious which culminated in their keeper going down with Cramp in 40th minute, he went right off my Xmas card list that day

eff it - I dont care where it was but it made Cowley madder than hell

I thought he came over as a great bloke in their Cup run(s) but he looks as skittish as the rest of them.

He spent the whole 5 mins of added time tapping his watch at the 4th Official - kn*****d
