Idler, I would agree with all that if true, but he looked their best player to me yesterday, and played well when I watched him at Bradford.

He looked a decent player, but we have better players than Payne in that position.

Jonathan, I have no argument with that, he was their best player, but I would not swap any of their players for ours, especially taking the ages in to consideration. he has nowhere near the promise of Whiteman and Sheaf.
