Sterling

This kid looks something special he’s not a big lad but his has phenomenal upper body strength - today he shook off the defender burst into the area got his shot off & the rebound before squaring for JT to slot in - I was mightily impressed the kid is clearly a cut above the level he’s playing at this season - we’re fortunate to have him!!

Said to the bloke I stand next to, how composed was he when he set Taylor up?! He looks class, let's hope he can keep it up.

Needs to put himself about a lot more for me when he comes on, for someone that is fresh off the bench he should be running around at a million mile an hour closing down their back four for that last 10-15 minutes to take the pressure off our midfield and back four.

He's not so comfortable with the ball in the air but on the ground he looks well equipped! Ennis is learning how to mix it a bit more. Certainly ruffled Shackell's feathers when he kicked out at him (ignored by the officials!)

Ennis is the new Billy Sharp for me, he will run through a brick wall for you, and looks like he could score for fun, if the service is right.

Sterling’s contribution won the game for us.

Sterling looks the real deal to me in the short time he was on the pitch.

Looks to suit the style DM has us playing (fast triangle passing and third man runs) and his awareness and calmness  to pick up the rebound from his shot and set up Jon Taylor for a bit of a tap-in was superb. Very composed.

Yep, he could easily have tried to smash that rebound goalwards again but had the composure and skill to put it on a plate for JT.
It is good to have Sterling and Ennis in our ranks.
