Almost every one above us seems to be picking up points, so I'd say it's very Important to get something from the game...

Coventry had more of the ball and lively up front but we counter attacked with a brilliantly executed, well worked team goal. COYR

To be a top 2 side we need to beat those teams around us, Coventry are one of these teams.

Decent half..

Coventry moving it around well and Dieng has made a couple of saves, and Anderson a block when Dieng was beaten.

We look ok going forward, plenty of width..  Coventry need to press so we will have chances to get behind them in the second half..

If Coventry do start pushing up it will suit our game, Ennis in particular will get in behind them.

Coventry just edged first half but great goal from Whitman.daniels playing well but they are looking dangerous in attack.anderson great block preventing a goal. They seem to warrant their table position.ennis could have scored earlier. :scarf:

As for the game being a must win etc,. No it isn’t, but we should aim win any game - shouldn’t fear any opposition in this division..

If we lose because Coventry have a better second half I would be disappointed but so be it.. I have seen enough in our team in recent weeks to see we can compete with anyone in the league..

Ennis was clear thro at the end of the first half. How that rugby tackle wasnt a yellow is incredible!

If he was clean through surely it should have been a red.

50' Coventry have knocked the ball out of play so that the Rovers physio can come on to treat Niall Ennis who sat down off the ball. Looks like Alfie May will be coming on in his place. 0-1 #COVDON #DRFC

51' SUBSTITUTION | Confirmation of Rovers' change.
OFF - Niall Ennis
ON - Alfie May

Kieran Sadlier has moved up front. 0-1 #COVDON #DRFC

free press
Attack rejigged

Alfie May replaces the injured Niall Ennis but drops into the three man attack behind the lone striker, who is now Kieran Sadlier.

...........Not too confident with the defence,..........

Why not, BRR? Only asking!   :)

I didn't think Daniels was quite fitting in at first, a tiny bit lost when the ball was in our box, much better as the game progressed.

that one was just over half way, so a yellow was correct:.

58' - Hiwula's shot deflected.

City continue to press looking for an equaliser and it's Hiwula's shot which takes a deflection on it's way through and is comfortable for Dieng.

[0-1] #PUSB

58' Tom Anderson is in the way once again! His block takes all the pace off Hiwula's shot making it easy for Dieng to collect. 0-1 #COVDON #DRFC
