Billy sharpe

With sheffield United supposedly interested in a move for another striker ( brentfords olly Watkins) anybody think we could tempt Billy back here. I know it would be a big ask but he would eat this league alive especially with the way we play.

It’s not going to happen. What wages do you think he is on?
Premier league player. How much of his wages would Sheff U expect us to pay?
Don’t think it would be realistic.
We need to move on from Billy, he is the past not the future.

If he doesn't get the games though who knows! I know it's a dream but a dream I would love to come true.

If the rumours of Leon Clarke's wages were anywhere near true, then we can't get anywhere near it. For this to happen there would have to be a massive charitable gesture from the Blades/Billy. Likely to be a host of clubs queuing for his services with more money to gamble with than us.

That said, it's on record that Wilder told DM we can have first dibs.

If we couldn’t afford Clarke’s wages then we’ve no chance of getting Sharpe back.  I’d have thought he could still crack it in the championship. He’s got no reason to drop to league 1

Billy is the captain isn’t he? Even if he’s not playing, like Jagielka, I’m sure Wilder wants his experience around the club.

I'm sure I read somewhere a few years ago an interview with Billy's dad who said that Billy is just not money motivated, and that he just loves playing football.
Maybe a cheeky thirty bob a week and a Blackie's egg might just tempt him back.

The only ever genuine replacement for King Alick would be King Billy.

Amazing how often we misspelt the names of our best ever two strikers.

I will give up every Christmas present for the rest of my life to have Billy playing for Rovers, but it won't happen.

Who was the person? Wilder? Moore? Clarke? Baldwin?

Absolutely zero chance that Billy would miss out on the Blades first season back in the Premier League. Even if he sits getting splinters in his arse all season. Never gonna happen.

Actually it's three BB. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who couldn't spell Markwiss properly.
