I never thought I'd ever see anyone run a marathon distance in under 2 hours.
Staggering.
As someone just said on the radio, imagine setting the treadmill to 21km/h and running for 2 hours.
I sometimes up the treadmill speed to 20km/h for the final 200m of a 5k run. I am absolutely f**ked after that!

It’s a fantastic achievement in itself, but would be better in an actual race..

It will be very difficult to do it in a proper race but it will be done one day.

I tend to think I'm a decent runner but when you compare it I run a half marathon in 1:33...... staggering pace.

Parkrun shared some data, that only 5 park runs matched his 5k pace.
Amazing.

14:10 for 5k. Eight and a half times in a row!
That's insane.
I once got lapped on a Parkrun by someone who finished in 16:05 and that itself was astonishing to see. Kipchoge is beyond belief.
