I would have thought that this would have been detailed in each individual loan agreement?

As IDM says,I would think it is down to the parent clubs and what was agreed between them and us.Unless a parent club was expecting the player to possibly play for them in FA cup or sell them in Jan,I would expect them to be ok to play.
