He always did seem to do the odd wierd thing from time to time didn't he?

Not desperately reliable judgement maybe?

If they owe him it they should pay. It should not matter  how much money he has

To be honest I bet most people would be unhappy with not getting £180000 in owed wages.
Why should the owners get away with that?

It’s not about the money, it’s about wanting the club to be wound up .

Maybe he was so desperate for the job he didn't check if they could pay him the wages promised.

So how would Sol Campbell best want to be remembered?

As the England defender who represented his Country in a World Cup Finals or as the man who ultimately caused the demise of Macclesfield Town Football Club for the price of a Bentley Sports car?

Think most will remember him for the England and arsenal career anyway. Hate to see it but clubs shouldn’t spend what they don’t have. Not fair on the favs but hopefully one day something changes to stop that kind of overspending

If Macclesfield go bust it'll be because their owners don't pay their employees, not because of Sol Campbell. The players are on about striking again, it's ridiculous.

How is any of this Campbell’s fault?
He took over when they looked doomed and they ended up safe comfortably.
And he never got paid his wages??

Yet it’s his fault, give over

It sounds like another Bury or Bolton situation is looming.
