So Gordon Brown .....
« on December 10, 2019, 07:41:46 am by Donnywolf »
.... almost lost the Election he did because of an off Camera (he thought) comment on a Woman fom Rochdale or somewhere that had bent his ear
I remember the incident WELL and his election virtually ended there and then
However Pinocchio Johnson ADDS to his growing list of lies by grabbing an Interviewers Phone when asked to look at the poor kid in the Hospital which he refused time amd time again to do. Eventually he caved in and gave the Phone back and despatched Hancock to smooth the waters ar Leeds Hospital
and  yet
and YETThe b*****d simply ploughs on regardless seemingly to RUN THIS COUNTRY !

The difference is that the right wing press TOLD people to dislike Brown. However the right wing press are now fawning over Boris so the sheep around the country will still vote for him.

On the Jeremy Vine TV program this morning, where they were discussing this, a guy phoned in and said that the incident had prompted him to change his mind about how he was going to vote.  He'd planned to vote Labour, but because of what happened he was now going to vote Tory!

Yes, honestly.  The braid dead of Britain are alive and well and screwing things up for the rest of us!

And right on cue their goes the labour issue - right when they're attacking on the NHS the shadow health secretary slams Corbyn - amateur hour from all sides, pathetic.

Senior leader of the Labour team at the moment admitting he is a fool on TV and trying to explain why he thinks Corbyn is a fool. at least he is honest, on both counts. Johnathan Ashworth stand up as a truthful politician, accepts he is a fool.

Selby.

Aye. A fool to trust a friend who is also a Tory, not to secretly record a chat between friends and then send it off to Guido Fawkes.

I know what I'd do to a friend of mine who tried pulling a stunt like that.

I agree with Billy on this..A conversation recorded between two so called mates. When in reality one was just trying to stitch the other up with a pre planned sting to achieve shocking cheap Political points another low..Now Ashworth might not like Corbyn but that shouldn't be a surprise remembering how many of his own mp's wanted to out him not so long ago so I cant see were the story is really.

The fact that is headline news this lunch tells you why they do this though..Stupid from Ashworth maybe but treacherous from Baker

I watched this embarrassment on the Politics Show. OK, Ashworth had the guts to admit he'd been a fool, but he also had the temerity to lie, claiming that he didn't mean any of it, it was just "banter", to give his Tory mate a false sense of security. Yeah right.

Oh, hold on a minute, he can't be lying can he? He's Labour, and only Tories lie.

But isn’t the left wing press telling everyone not to vote Tory.
