Good half from Rovers against a decent Oxford side. Passing is better than recent games and defending is excellent. Great move for the goal
Makes a change from reading that “we are second best” and “midfield offering nothing.”
More in the second half, Scooter!

Great start to the New Year for Rovers, long may it continue. Good score against a good Oxford side.

For the first 25 minutes they weren’t .. grown into the game more though and maybe now a bit of belief is setting in. Prior to the goal we were too lightweight especially in the tackle. Fingers crossed for a continuation of the better work

How's Copps doing? Asking as he is both due a goal and some suggested he was fairly absent last game.

Oxford thought they scored but we cleared it off the line then had a good counter attack down the other end. Entertaining game

Taylor is off for Watters

Bench is just so weak .. hopefully incomings will help

In one way i quite like that bench. It shows we are willing to blood these young kids. I've like it even more in Blaney was included instead of Daniels.

It'll be interesting to see how Watters plays now. This is a major opportunity for him.

Think it’s about getting more pace on as they are set out very attacking and are best chance now is in behind

Three breaks down the right so far. One led to a good cross into the box, one led to a shot at goal but it was a weak effort, third he was fouled and brought down just outside box

10 points clear of the bottom 3, 7 points off top 6 with 1/2/3 games in hand over those above, you might wanna look the other way!

Marquis on the bench for Pompey, things are not working for him down South, should have stayed at Rovers, grass is not always greener on t'other side.
