I for one am always behind our team, but if something is done or said that I don't like or agree with then I will always question it, but that does not mean I am no behind them because I like all of us love our club and team

Doncaster Rovers is my club my team and always will be,but i too reserve the right to have my say on the club and the manager, being that DM is now talking to the reps of, as the Vicar aptly put it,the two Duckeggs Thomas and Bingham about extending their contracts,my faith in DM is going downhill by the day.

wabtec, you shouldn't believe everything that people tell you.

So, of course you have a right to 'have your say' but at least base it on facts and not gossip.

I have listened to it. There's no way he's stated that we're offering them new/extended contracts.

He said 'at the moment both players are still with us'

Their contracts run until the end of the month.

ok SM  i know what I think he will do,but we will all have to wait and seeIMO either or both of these two should not be anywhere near this club we are better than that.Giving an extension to even one of them will confirm my growing opinion of DM.

Yes of course, but I'd expect you to base your opinion on fact and not rumour.

What he also said in his interview was the phrase they use often 'around here'.

'Small steps, but sure steps'.

I think that explains more about DM's approach to this than anything.

ok SM,once again after one of DM,s interviews there are more questions than answers,we will know a lot of facts by the end of the month, wether we use coded language like small steps sure steps and around here we will know soon what he will do with these two.by his interview he is willing to even discuss extending their contracts, that is enough for me.

I wouldn't call it coded language, it just means he's not in to flamboyant gestures in order to justify his position, or authority with either the club management or the supporter base.

And I'm absolutely sure he didn't want to give out any false signals about these two without talking to them first.

What did you expect him to say? 'Were not extending contracts but I haven't told them yet?'

I am certain this thread will come back to life at the end of the month or before till then we all know nothing.

No, this is another thread that has been hijacked when there's another thread on the specific subject.

It's easy to understand the frustration of seemingly being victims all the time. Managers leaving us in the lurch, being given back word on transfer deals, the Bolton affair etc.

The best thing we can do is convert that frustration into getting behind the team tonight and playing our part in trying to win 3 points. Out of adversity as they say.

COYR.
