Farke's comments on Idah after todays game....

“It was difficult for him in front of 70,000 people to be there with his first appearance in a Premier League starting line-up. Sometimes, you have to jump in the water.

“We got the feeling it was his chance because we have several injured strikers. Teemu Pukki and Josip Drmic will come back in the next days and it was a diffuclt situation.

“We backed him and he worked a lot. I was pleased with his workload and I didn’t expect any miracles from him.”

Sounds to me that hes not in his plans for the remainder of the season now his other strikers are back fit. Or am I just being hopeful?

As we keep saying, patience is a great virtue. I'm sure DM will be monitoring the situation. DM and the team are doing the right thing in showing we are a good club for these youngsters to develop and achieve something at the same time.

Reading the Canaries website, prior to today’s game, it appears the ManU fixture came too early for his 2 main strikers, but they will be back for their next game.

Fingers and toes are crossed that he could be with us next week.

Crikey - if someone's posted his name on here 6 weeks ago as a loan target there'd have been a meltdown!

Now we're hoping and praying we can sign him and he'll be the saviour!

I don’t think anybody is pinning hopes on anything. Talk about making exaggerated claims just to make a point!

This ‘unproven’ teenager scored a wonderful hat-trick in the first chance he was given with the first team. If you’re going to make a statement, in professional football, about your capabilities and promise for brighter things, I can’t think of many better ways to do it (other than to rack up 15 goals, between now and the end of the season, for your loan Club!

If Watters had scored a hat-trick in his first outing, this board would be clamouring for him to be in the side every week.

I haven’t seen a post where anyone has said that Bingham has become a world beater though Campsall.
I have seen some which say he is still poor and some that say he might be improving and a couple that said he might have just started to believe in himself and had the confidence to do what he did on Saturday.

Shouldn’t it be 1 goal doesn’t make Messi into Bingham? Messi has never scored for the red and white hoops so his career is something of a failure...

Apparently 18 month loan deal is still looking possible for Idah. That would be a good solution. Not needing to replace him in the summer would be perfect.

Saw it on Norwich’s forum regarding the length being 18 months. They’ve all said the same thing in terms of logical decision. They would rather have him while other strikers are out. Now they’re back it makes sense that he can go complete the deal he was due to complete anyway.
