Billy, you are 100% correct, and the sad thing is I think the regulars on here could write the same names down in a sealed envelope before any game, and get most names correct if we lost the game.

No today was the ceiling that we can’t brake through . DRFC have no intentions of putting investment in the team only token gestures of loans and window shopping for targets that will not come any where near a penny pinching club like ours !!!
Not sure we matched them in the 1st half it was man against boys, last 10 mins and second half we did thou, I think it’s frustration why people are moaning, sadlier went off and we brought a guy on who to be fair did nothing wrong that couldn’t get a contract with a non league team and let’s be honest is no where near good enough for this league, we had may who was a decent squad player who we have let go and not replaced and we have played all season without a decent centre forward when the last few seasons we had one banging 20 goals plus, something somewhere has gone wrong with recruiting and to be fair at this level is not good enough
Every year, it gets a bit worse. This entitled bleating everytime we don't steamroller an opponent.I'll give you my two pennorth. We've just gone toe to toe with a side that will get a top three place. We have matched them in every aspect of play, other than one momentary lapse of concentration where we didn't close down for the goal. We had several chances where shots weren't cleanly struck or deflections took the ball into Marosi's hands. We've had two poor decisions go agai at us (penalty on Ennis and the foul given against us when Marosi spilled a catch). It happens.Ennis had an off-day. It happens. And then the floodgates open in here.Quite pathetic to witness the bawling of grown men because they haven't got EXACTLY what they want.

Marquis money ?Playing staff down to bare bones , Shrewsbury walked away from our offer inspite of risking player leaving in the summer that’s how low it was ! We are the only team in the EFL without a club No9 on the books. SFB!

On the flip side fellas, it was the 52nd minute before we had a shot on target, at home, really? & for the 2nd home game in a row I wasn't entertained. It's not the lack of effort, or the losing to an extent, it's the lack of poor passing & lack of quality where it matters, in the last third. We will, in my opinion, fall well short of the top six with the current squad. We offered absolutely nothing threat wise in the first half, & huffed & puffed 2nd half when Coventry sat in & let us have the ball. Two or 3 additions & we will have a chance, if not, plan for next season.

That’s the biggest problem imo. Well we are not going to pay them ridiculous fees. Well done Rovers. It’s a shame most other clubs don’t take the same stance. The whole game would be better for it.
Agree with what u said there Billy, personally I thought we were in the game up until they scored, then I felt we sort of went into our shell a bit, I thought the next 15/20 mins or so we were poor but finished the first half better! 2nd half I thought we looked more at the races, much better going forward and tbh I thought the goal for us was going to come at one point, but it never did and it is what it is! We lost, it’s not the end of the day, we don’t have a Devine right to win every game! We move on to the next game, which again will be a tough game! guaranteed there will be more losses and also more wins before this season is done with, and we will finish where we are suppose to this season!

There are some apologists that will accept anything. I'm not sure what some people were watching but if that is the standard you are happy to accept, save yourself some money and go watch sunday league. It was boring. At one point the ball was passed back to Dieng and he just stood there looking at 10 statues in front of him. We lost, and we fully deserved to lose. I'm not moaning about losing, I'm moaning about the absolute dross I had to spend £21 to watch.
