Anyone else “victim” to the no more software updates as you’ve a “legacy” product? Don’t remember that being in the sales pitch! Not happy.

Sonos devices are just computers, (albeit dedicated to music). You're lucky they've supported them for 14 years, most computer manufacturers withdraw support on their products long before that.

Sonos are withdrawing support on some of their products.

Click on the "legacy" devices link to see it you are affected.
It's not that the products affected will just stop working, rather there will be no further upgrades/updates, so if Spotify for example make changes to their product delivery those legacy devices will likely no longer be able to play Spotify music. Similar risk for other streamed content. Also, if you network any of the legacy products with current ones this operation is likely not to work also!
If your Sonos devices are connected to your own NAS then they will continue to function, unless you change or upgrade your NAS; but again, if you have a mix of legacy and current products this operation will be affected.
Sonos are offering a rebate/upgrade scheme, but as they are all 'computers' by another name this is likely to happen, (not unreasonably), to current products further down the line.
HTH.
