WTF

Tens of millions of migrants may be denied COVID-19 vaccines from a global program because some major manufacturers are worried about legal risks from harmful side effects, @Reuters finds https://t.co/RJVsJej8xH 1/7 https://t.co/cR2OHjJlip

My eldest sons Girlfriend is a midwife. In our local hospital, she says the only covid cases there are, are ones that have been detected as a result of being in hospital. Ie they were in hospital for something else and during routine testing covid has been detected.they had no idea they had covid.

Your eldest son's girlfriend's hospital is a bit of an odd one then, given that on average 3/4s of all the patients in English hospitals with COVID have COVID as their primary reason for being in hospital. I wonder what is going on at her place?

20 people in Rotherham hospital positive for covaids. Non in ICU.

Yes Nudga. That sounds about right because, guess what? Vaccines work. Who have thought it. So, even though we've had case numbers as high as last Xmas for the past 5 months, hospital numbers have been down in last Jan by 80%.

But the Omicron wave hasn't worked through yet.

So, promise us you'll come back and give us your thoughts on how many people are in hospitals this time next month.

Hey, and maybe immunity from natural infection from the last 18 months has also played a big part.

I see you don't have thoughts on the Reuters article. You've got skin in the game haven't you.

Hang on Nudga. One point at a time.
You've been telling us for 21 months that the number of people infected is a massive con because ...reasons. Now you're saying weve got massive natural immunity. Which one is it?

Ah the famous BST twisteroo. What I have been saying for 21 months is that the death rate figures are a con because.... 28 days of a blah blah blah.

What you've been doing for months and months is pushing the idea that 100% of the population need to be vaxxed up  and completely ignoring natural immunity through infection.

Oh, apologies, I nearly forgot that I did question the PCR test cycle threshold, which is +40 I believe.

Doncaster & Bassetlaw hospitals post on Facebook, from about 4 days ago:

“At the time of writing, we have 45 patients with us who have tested positive for COVID-19 - 30 at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and 15 at Bassetlaw Hospital. Of these, six require intensive care, and we wish them all the very best and colleagues continue to work around the clock to aid their recovery. The age range of these individuals spans between 24 and 95, and, as was the case last week, the ratio splits between 70% are unvaccinated and 30% vaccinated. As ever, we ask our communities to observe hands, face and space, adhere to recent guidance as well as put your arm forward if you have yet to receive your first, second or booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Omicron is a challenge we could do without this Christmas, but we have pushed coronavirus back numerous times since March 2020 and, with your support, we'll do so once again. Enjoy your evening.”

That may be true, but not accurate.

What you are saying is 45 are in hospital because of Covid, yet some may have been admitted due to other illnesses and later tested positive.

Nobody is heartless enough not to care.

Kirk that was my question earlier. How many have been admitted due to covid. Also has flu disappeared ?
I’m not want to downplay the effect losing loved ones has had merely to try and make sense of the figures

At the moment all media outlets are stating only the negatives in a way to instil fear into those that enjoy a little stress in there lives,
the BBC is notorious for this with its sensationalist headlines ….yet always omitting the reality of the information .ie, how many have died of moronic and how many have been admitted because of moronic…..

And who the hell are these hundreds of thousands of people ( supposedly) being infected ??

Aptly anagram’d

I’m not saying anything - just direct quote from D&B hospitals on Facebook on their situation 4/5 days ago. Perhaps if you message they will be able to give you the finer details.

I’m not wishing anything, we are in a worse situation now than at the start of the pandemic, theres talk of a two week fire break after Christmas, why after Christmas? I’ll tell you why, because the idiots ego won’t let him be the grinch that stole Christmas again, meanwhile the situation just keeps getting worse. The sudden vaccination rollout will do nothing for at least three weeks after a vaccination, the truth is as far as vaccinations are concerned the Govt took their foot off the gas, I want a normal life as much as anyone, I also want the best chance to live that normal life, the trouble is we have too many nut jobs that see a conspiracy everywhere, that is holding us back. I’ll say it now, Johnson has said this week, they want us to make our own mind up, but they want us not to socialise as much at the moment, what that really means is when the lockdown comes the public will be blamed for it, nailed on, the man is a first class Kitson

So over half the adults boosted but still having freedoms taken away - I watched a hospital programme filmed in 2019 and guess what - they were overwhelmed. Still the idiots in charge won’t make air filtration mandatory at schools if they are so worried

Statistically worse ( easy to manipulate)
Or physically worse ( harder to prove )

I’m assuming you are one of the many worried who panics upon hearing or reading every negative headline.....
This new strain may be a bit more virilant however it’s not been proven to be worse, contrary to unfounded predictions...

We will all be immune to it by new year .....or have succumbed to whatever it’s alleged to do .....

Then a new strain from ( insert country) .....will be wheeled out to keep the big machine rolling along....

Do you really think every Country in the World has got together in a conspiracy to con the Worlds population?

Not to con anyone…..but to impose controls and restrictions en masse !

This has already happened, now it’s a case of follow my leader to see which country can get away with more,  so other nations can use them as an example and follow suit…….. this is also happening !

And all the time covid is in everyone’s mind …… real deaths from preventable illness will increase,  and we won’t batter an eyelid because our heads are turned in the wrong direction……

Wakey wakey rise and shine…….your are sleepwalking into a new world order were digital mapping of Human Resources becomes a reality….

2075-2100  world population expected to hit 10.3 billion on current trajectory
2075-2100  accessible resources available to support 5 billion life forms….. it is unavoidable !

Someone else who has been to the June Slater university of global virology and world economics.

Now I'm no expert, as a few people on here kindly point out on a regular basis so I will ask the experts on here a quick question.

With the amount of tests done everyday and the amount of positive tests sent in everyday. How is it possible for the labs to do the genome sequencing on every test to differentiate between delta and omicron and have the results out the very next day?

Oh, and watch out for Delta and Omicron to team up to make a super varient which the boosters won't touch so you'll need a booster to boost your booster.

I’m on your page Nudga!
And if this forum is a representation of society then we are already buggered!

This is unknown territory for me , witnessing extreme gullibility from reasonably educated and what seem like well balanced people…..

There is no evidence to support the new virus being a killer of millions yet people are talking of taking the most extreme precautions……not because they must, but because they want to!

Job done, ….let the culling begin

Nudga.

They don't genetically sequence every test. They do it on a proportion of the tests and use robust, well established statistical methods to estimate the overall figures.

It's the sort of process that underpins much of the planning that makes the modern world work. You could read up on it if you wanted, instead of vanishing down whatever conspiracy theory rabbit hole pops up in your feed.
