Tranmere on T.V
« on January 26, 2020, 04:26:29 pm by Big MAC »
I’ve played footy in cow fields that were better than this. I bet our players are really looking forward to playing on this pitch, no point in trying to pass it around it will just stop in the mud.

I bet there are numerous houses in the Wirral with bigger and better lawns than this.

Looks like it’s been submerged under the Mersey for a year

Yes plenty of Liverpool and Everton players will live in Heswall and area.
Their lawns will be far better than that Prenton Park pitch and probably bigger.

Man United have done pretty well knocking it around on there, and they're crap!!

I’ve heard the drainage system has collapsed and can’t be sorted until the end of the season?

Yep, layers of soil under the pitch have compacted and parts of the secondary drainage system have collapsed. The whole thing needs to be redone in the close season. That'll probably be where the money from the United tie will go.

When we play them, I'd play Anderson up front and just hoof it up to him!
