How the other half live
« on January 26, 2020, 06:45:25 pm by phil o sophical »
So you're a run of the mill league one side, you're two nil down to the the mighty Liverpool and you fight back to level the tie. Then you look over to the bench and see some bloke called Salah coming on, shortly followed Firmino :s :s

It’s the same side that knocked a full strength Everton Side out in the last round

Every single player who played for Liverpool would walk into a League One side

Not a fan of VAR or Liverpool but should teams be getting penalties for fouls outside the box?

VAR.

1. The most boring subject ever conceived.
2. If we are to have this abomination thrust on us, then surely it has to be used equally in any competition?
3. Nobody on this planet can give you an accurate explanation of what the new hand ball rule is today.

Pretty sure the handball rule is now a guideline. That hasn’t been handed out to anyone.

The main talking point for me is why Jason Cummings isn't playing at a higher level .

Very promising lad when he was at Hibs , two Scotland caps but seems to have gone backwards since he joined Forest .

Smart bit of business by the Shrews if they can get him going .

Everton struggled to get a shot on goal against pretty much the same side.

Bad attitude apparently, had a torrid time on loan at Peterborough. Was caught on video smashing his own flat to bits, struggles to keep fitness and is on a lot of money. Shrewsbury have taken a chance on him and it paid of tonight. Although, he hasn’t done much in the league all season and looked terrible at the KM this season.

That would explain it then , the lads way above league one and he needs to knuckle down now , possibly his last chance at Shrewsbury I'd imagine .

Don’t think it shows that at all
Most of those playing today aren’t in the squad usually. So would take a silly amount of injuries for them to be playing

Despite the weaker team I'm guessing Liverpool still started with 4 or 5 internationals on the pitch.
Adrian, Lovren, Matip, Fabinho, Minamino, Origi ?

It wasn’t that bad. Matip has been subbed and had gone off on the opposite side of the pitch as new rules state. He was walking around the pitch back to the dugout , towards the Shrews goal. At a glance he wold have looked like he was making his way down the wing
