More transfer news from Yorkshire now, and after letting goalkeeper Ian Lawlor join Scunthorpe on loan till the end of the season, Doncaster Rovers have signed Devante Cole on a permanent deal from Wigan.

I think this would be a good signing for us.

You can look at his strike rate and conclude his career progress has stalled a bit, but he’s still only 24 and was very highly thought of not so long ago.

He’s had a good schooling at Manchester City, decent height, pace, and physical presence. One to work with and could be a really good addition when he’s settled I think.

DM's transfer to us was put up on wiki a bit previous and then taken down, if it was at our end I'm sure it won't happen till it's pen on paper.
