Good news from Hoden - both Sadlier and Whiteman have trained today and WILL travel to Fleetwood tomorrow.

West Ham paying £22m for Bowen worrries me. Can only imagine McCann will try and take Whiteman or Sailder.
Going nowhere.
Unless they offer 5 million minimum for the pair. We don’t need to sell do we. Get offered silly money and that’s a different matter, especially for Sadlier as he is out of contact in 5 months.

Why go to Hull. We might be playing them next season and we have a better Manager imo.
Yes I know if their wages are doubled their heads could be turned.
Can’t see either of them being a replacement for Bowen though.  ;)

Will be very shocked if either of them go today as we will be back to square one in squad depth without replacements.
It won’t happen not a chance.  That’s it then there gone as i said Marquis wouldn’t go as well.
:headbang:   :crying:

£5 million for the pair?

That would be daylight robbery. Whiteman alone ought to fetch that figure & more.

He’s the Jordan Henderson of the football league.

Lol....I personally think he’s better

They are travelling this afternoon so they have time to stop the bus and get off like Copps did when he went to Notts Forest.

Grozicki already left Hull for West Brom and Bowen looks like leaving, also. Also, worryingly (possibly for us), Hull May be losing a third midfielder!

Who's that?

Its Henrikson but he’s not played for them since last season so I wouldn’t worry about him going

Wasn't Henrikson the one they wanted Whiteman to replace but they couldn't get rid and then signed someone else instead?

Yeah they signed Lopez from Wigan instead, although Hull have rejected a bid from NY red bulls for Lopez

They’re only going Fleetwood, Copps was on his way to Yeovil at the time

Yes but he got off at Nottingham, at least it was on the way Fleetwood is on the way to nowhere😁
What I don't understand is this apparent eagerness from some posters to let our top scorer go. Just imagine for one minute now the attacking goal scoring options we look as though we now have. A proven scorer of goals at this level already at the club, another in Fey and then Cole. The one thing we have all been crying out for since Marquis left was a No9 well Sadlier hasn't done a bad job deputising with his contribution so far and now things can only get better with the new signings, we hope.

I don’t think anyone wants Sadlier to go this window - I don’t.

But with Fey and Cole arriving, we could survive his loss..

We could only survive his loss if we brought another quality wide man in to replace him

Agree to disagree on that point, but as I said, I don’t want nor expect KS to move on today..

Hoden saying there might be more than one! Says we are being offered players who clubs want to get out on loan, and says if players come available that he's already identified then he'll do it.

DM is a shrewd bloke and has shown that although he is clearly a warm hearted man he is not driven by sentiments alone eg Bingham and Thomas come and gone and I do not see him holding on to a player who refuses his first offer to sign an extension .He has a good knowledge of the young talent especially in the Midlands and we will benefit from his knowledge and ability to attract these young players .

Are we all happy to shut up shop for the day or do we want another?

I'm really happy the way things have turned out this week. I really hope now we can focus in supporting DM and the boys and help them in whatever way we can  by turning out in numbers!

I'd certainly rather stick than twist, if that risks us losing anyone...

If I was being greedy, I would have liked us to sign Pereira, but the fact that discussions will be had this evening is good enough. I just don’t want anyone to gazump us, as I believe this young man has a future.

Extremely good signings, is the loan window longer than the transfer one still? Pereira might still be signed after his performance in the U23 match, he's a free agent.

With Peterborough and Oxford both weakening too it's been a very good window.

I'm struggling to remember a better transfer window? Hats off the board, they have come up trumps. If we can keep these three fit its definitely a play off squad now.

DM is a shrewd operator, pretty sure he wants to keep our top scorer.

With Hull losing the stars of Grosicki and Bowen, anyone would be forgiven for thinking that Grant is about to go to another club!

The Hull fans I work with were unimpressed with who they brought in and a day after the window closes have just lost 5-1 at home!  He won't get the patience he would have done here.
