Down to ten 10 men

Hate Priestfield Stadium with a passion. Never get anything at that place including decent refs.

Hence Tenerife.

We won there 3-1 last season.
Because i missed that one as well.
Look at our record. Only Reading is worse.

As discussed on another thread we lost to 2 own goals by a good player that is playing out of position, a position that is forced upon him, but we had our chances to win, but big Tom had hard luck when he hit the upright

The result that means we need more than 2pts a game to get into the playoffs looking at the other scores today.

It is a hard result to accept, with the feeling we more than deserved to come away with something, that we were mugged, and the officials were not up to the professional antics Gillingham got up to, especially off the ball, the worst incident when Ramsey was flattened in the first half by No27 with the ball a good twenty yards away. And not for the first time (Fleetwood) it works because of the lack of help the referee gets from the assistants, who just give mundane ball out ball in decisions.
Both Gillingham and Fleetwood employ stop the other team playing, pulling shirts, tripping, feigning injury tactics, anything to disrupt the rhythm of the game, and react as one to anything they think is to their advantage, gathering around the officials at every opportunity, add Wycombe to that list.
It is time for the Referees to reflect on their approach to these repeat offenders, don't like yesterday give them games to new just in the league referees who are not up to the job.

I would put my starboard knacker on my theory that fatty Evans and his bent back-up team got our player sent off. But you can't blame them for doing it. That's the type of thing that cheats do. The blame should go to the officials who succumb to it. Weak and intimidated officials are the reason why cheats get away with it and prosper in doing so.

Just seen EFL the sending off seemed a bit harsh although it was difficult to properly assess as the camera was that far away
