If some of the posters on here actually met face to face every year at an end of season bash there might be a lot less aggravation on here.
There is nothing wrong with having different opinions but sometimes you just have to agree to disagree.
It's also not the end of the world to be proven wrong and admit that you were wrong. Rovers til we die.

Sorry I won't be able to make it - I will be out cycling in the summer and I don't drink much anyway - but I prepared to put some money behind the bar of the Tuckers Grave Inn for you.

If you haven't been there it is well worth a visit. Dates from the 17th century and has just become Grade 1 listed because it is one of the very few pubs left in the country that errr, doesn't have a bar...

I'm all for this. However, it could be a bit chaotic, seeing as many people will probably be clamouring for the autographs of BB and myself. I would suggest that we both sit at a table near the entrance, so that people can form an orderly queue and await their turn.

I might add that no preference will be given to anyone. Even popular posters like BST and Filo will have to queue.
