In a normal recession, it takes a year for that sort of change in unemployment to happen. And that new level only adds up 15/50 states! There's 35 states still to add data. And THAT is why Govts everywhere must IMMEDIATELY underwrite salaries. If they don't, this is going to be the worst economic catastrophe since...well, effectively, ever.I heard somewhere that they were considering some sort of universal income for all adults, an idea which as far as I know was first suggested by John Hargreaves of the Kibbo Kift in the 1930s. sounds like a good idea to me but I can't see it washing with the Conservatives, however we are in strange times. PS: has anyone seen any UHT milk anywhere?

I'll bet the management will be getting paid. Are you in a union? Your firm is bullshitting you. They can get a grant from Govt which would easily cover immediate sick pay costs.No. They don't want to take on a loan because of the interest payments! They're creating a proper time bomb with the future attitude of the staff when this all gets sorted.

I wonder if she does mail order
I’ve asked my other half not to just walk in, in case I am in the middle of an important call, but just like when I am in the office she can what’s app me etc..
Just hitting me what this is going to be like.My wife (library worker) has been called into work. Libraries have shut but they are looking at putting the staff into a general Council workers pool for other tasks. I get the logic, but it means I'm trying to work from home and look after 2 kids of 12 & 13. Going to be fun doing the 4 hour Skype meeting I have planned for after lunch.I guess we all just have to be reasonable. There is not a chance in a million you can be 100% productive in those circumstances.
