Sorry for another thread but I thought others may be in the same boat as me.Both myself and the little ones mum work full time, child is 2 and goes nursery 3 days a week. His grandparents have him 2 days a week. What on earth do we do when nursery closes on those 3 day’s?Will it be at the discretion of our companies? Will government fund us taking a day off a week but staying on full pay? Will we be asked to take days off unpaid?I’m pretty worried about this to be honest, no idea what we will do at minute and hopefully work will advise further tomorrow.
We were told by my daughter who lives in the same village that we both in our late 60's should now start self isolating. We usually look after our 2 grandchildren 3 days a week but with schools closing, for the eldest, they have decided that as they can both work from home her and our son in law will see to the grandchildren and do all our shopping etc. The bad part is we don't get to see the grandchildren or them as I am in the at risk group, asthma.
