Pub, clubs etc. Being closed

This has killed our business overnight, we usually have around 500 regular bookings a week, I’ve just been through them all, next week we now have 22 regular bookings that so far have n’t been cancelled

Funnily enough that is where I’m bound today, along with getting the grass cut, now I have plenty of time on my hands

I have just moved house so I have plenty to do. As long as I can keep the wages coming in I should be able to save up plenty to help with the refurb as there is nothing else left to spend it on.

Filo, are you an employee or self employed.?  If the former and your workload is drastically cut, perhaps you could be in the position where your employer can claim 80% of your wage from the government..?  Hope it does work out for you..

My boss is a mate, I will help him where ever I can, we’re playing it one day at a time at the moment and together we are working on a plan to get through this

Filo I'm sure I remember you saying that you are a taxi driver I have heard that city taxis in Sheffield have got busier as they are picking up parcels and food and medical stuff for people who are self isolating maybe something you can look into
