Player, Influential #3: Tom Anderson
« on April 01, 2020, 04:19:29 pm by RoversAlias »
Hi folks,

My series of articles highlighting the most important players to the Rovers side this season continues this week with a focus on Tom Anderson. You can check it out at the link below:

https://www.intotheemptynet.com/post/player-influential-3-tom-anderson

I discuss why Big Tom is such a crucial part of the team, detail his rise to prominence from an emergency stop-gap to an indispensable leader in the squad, and speculate on why he hasn't got the wider recognition he deserves.

Many thanks for reading as ever, hope everyone is staying safe and getting on okay during the lockdown.

Great article RA, and of particular interest to me, as I was a defender of Tom's ability in his early days with us, when some on here were giving him stick.

I didn’t realise that you were a defender in your footballing days mate, and to be a defender of Toms ability.......you must have been good.

Excellent read RA, thank you. I agree with all your comments in that article, and hope he stays "under the radar" for some time to come.

He had a solid season last season but has stepped it up couple of gears this season and has been absolutely rock solid at the heart of the defence. I actually cannot recall him having had a bad game tbh, love his attitude.
