RIP Paul Piercy
« on April 17, 2020, 05:16:15 pm by rover-n-out »
Another sad loss from our Rovers family. Paul Piercy sadly passed away this week having been admitted to DRI last week with Covid-19. Paul was put in an induced coma, he also had Diabetes, and never recovered from the virus.
It goes without saying that he will be sorely missed by our little band of mates who gathered at the Keepmoat, Paul was a lifelong Rovers fan, a terrific guitar player, and guitar teacher. My condolences to his lovely wife Denise, and son Alex. Paul, you will be sadly missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know you. RIP.

Paul deserved it - never without a smile on his face and I really regret not getting to know him much more that I did

I will think of him ever time I hear the word "fella"
