Finished my Darren picture earlier in the week. The background was a little bit of a worry but feel that it works well. Hope you like.

Thank you for your comments over the last couple of posts they're always welcome. I also posted the pictures on instagram where a couple of people asked if they could get copies well I've just recieved my first initial print run of my finished compulation. I thought I'd let you also know these are now available.
I'm putting these up for sale on my etsy site if anyone interested. As a special offer I'm covering the postage costs for the first few sales so get in quick befor the beer stop having an effect Ha

Personally I preferred the line drawing before you coloured it, but thats just me. You definitely need this back in the club shop for more people to see/buy.

I think that it is a very good likeness but I personally liked the more understated background on the earlier showing.
That is only my view and maybe a choice of either your final work or the earlier plainer one might result in more being sold.

That's a great rendering but if I'm brutally honest I'm not so keen on the backdrop, what inspired it? It looks like a heavily defocussed shot of a crowd perhaps.

I preferred it on flat white, with my background in graphics I might have been tempted to try a flat block of colour, though red might have overpowered it. Bright yellow might have looked cool but not so appropriate for Rovers fans.

Still though, a really good effort, well done.
