Yep, spoke to Gavin at length today, just to see how we're getting on.

They've started the process, but without a clear indication of what the revenues will be it's hard to be too definitive. The retained list will be out next week, and then it might be a bit of a wait for much clearer information.

The good thing is the Club Doncaster model has been beneficial, but without that type of support we would be in a mess alongside many other clubs.

SM could you elaborate on how the Club Doncaster model has been beneficial limiting the amount of mess we’d be in compared to other clubs.

I’m just wondering what processes, systems, the setup etc that’s be the differentiators to elevate us from other clubs?

And if this is the case, it’s a big positive in the safeguarding of the club which if its been that beneficial, it should (If possible) be built on further

I think it will help us players who are free agents will take smaller wages and years so could be a win win if we sign the right players we do need a good 8 or 9 new faces though.

He won't be going anywhere, he'll be playing first team football at QPR.

When I said in another thread a few weeks ago that the club would be in dire straight this summer because of the virus, people where knocking me and saying I was not talking sence, and saying that the club would not be in any difficulty, so now TELL ME WHO WAS WRONG

Tell me if I'm wrong, but you likened the situation to the Richardson era. And, I think the word dire is a bit too strong too.

You were wrong to say it was worse than the Richardson era.

Yes, of course there are difficult and worrying times for our club, but the difference to 1998 now is that many clubs are in the same position.  Not only that, but this time around we have owners and club management who actually give a damn about the club too.

You can see the difference vicar, can’t you.?
