Playing the Cobblers next season. Andy Williams first touch after coming on as a sub scores 4th goal. 4-0 Injury time.
Just the sort of team we hate playing against. Lots of big lads. Very direct, good on set pieces.
Exeter didn’t turn up tonight.
Lot nearer to Northampton though and my brother now lives there.

Not sure I agree that we hate playing against big physical teams Campsall. Rotherham are a massive team, and we've played better than them in our last 3 games against them.

Portsmouth are always a big team, and we usually do well against them.

Unless I'm mistaken, there appears to be now no mention on the front page of the BBC Football website about Northampton's promotion.

That's shocking

OK, it's not on mine, might be because the company I work for VPNs my connection through Texas.

Thanks for the clarification.

that old 3 sided Northampton ground was mental. Big centre halves launching the ball into the middle of the cricket field in the 89th minute.

Happy days. Remember going there when the team coach broke down on the M1. Players got picked up by supporters so it was said and they kicked off 30 mins late. Rovers were 3-0 up after 20 mins and won 4-1

I recall that the local kids were kicking the ball about in the goalmouth before that game.

I’m sure that was the same game that the tea hut got “turned over”....

Depends where he wants to live and his family I guess.?  Would still do a decent job in league 2.

Harrogate Town would be good. League 2 or National League if they don’t win play offs.
Nice place to live.
But as you say he may get a choice of clubs and the money and or location will probably be the biggest factors i am sure.
Good luck to him where ever he ends up. 3 promotions on his CV now, Swindon, Rovers, Cobblers..
