Errrr in case you all forgot (as usual)

Good luck John tonight

just checked when the match starts and it is 5pm (like 12 minutes) not just from the extra money that might be coming to Rovers.  nice to see to quote one poster who said on his signing a "more loans than wonga"  player be proved to be as good as i predicted all those years ago. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

What’s this about. Do we get money if Pompey are promoted as part of the marquis deal

It’s a good question do we get extra if Pompey are promoted?

I want them to go up. If they don’t they’ll be very likely to be up there next year whereas I wouldn’t see any of the other 3 as being as much of a threat, and surely we had the sense to put a clause in to get an additional payment in the event of promotion. Plus it means Fleetwood definitely don’t go up, and might mean that JM is surplus to requirements next year and opens up the possibility of a loan move back up North...(can but dream!)

FFS  if you were negotiating the transfer from Rovers point of view you would have to be pretty stupid not to put a clause in

also obviously  if Pompey  satay down they are going to be up there again  -   it goes without saying (they are not Leeds united in disguise - hopefully)   a

anyhow he's lined up on the bench to score the winner in extra time (can but dream)

I doubt that the fans would get to know if we get extra dosh from the JM deal if Pompey go up.
I wonder if he will take a pen if it goes that far, last year might still be haunting him.

Or Akinfenwa - never liked Wycombe, even with Barton at the helm I prefer Fleetwood.

To me Fleetwood embody most of what is wrong with football. Dirty, cheating, diving, off the ball fouls, ganging up to bully the ref and assistants.
Then we have their bench with their choreographed appeals.
I don't particularly like Wycombe but they aren't anywhere near as bad as Fleetwood.

Two years on a trot for Pompey as well mate. For what it's worth, I thought Fleetwood played brilliantly last night, especially Danny Andrew. They were denied a stonewall penalty in the first half, and that giant centre half, Harry Souttar, needlessly gave Wycombe their first goal. It could have been a totally different result.

I honestly think Oxford will blather Wycombe in the final. Having said that, I've probably just given Oxford the death knell.

Cracking strike from Danny for the 1st goal.

Shame Alex Cairns had an off game in the first leg. Gutted for him. He's a lovely kid.

Oxford are by far the better “football team” but Wycombe are a very awkward team to play against.
It’s 50/50 for me.

Personally I hope Oxford win the final. I don't think Wycombe will be as good next season as Oxford probably would.
