Happy with that but should be game over and 2-0 can be a dangerous lead.
Dagenham & Redbridge and Bristol Rovers spring to mind.

Notts county have been awful. Just lumping balls forward to Wooton and expecting to play off that.

Fantastic. Never thought I would see the day Harrogate would become a league club.

Congratulations to them.  :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Just shows if you stick with the manager what can be achieved.

11 years in the job. I suppose it helps if your Dad is the Chairman and owner.

Sure I read somewhere that they will play somewhere else if promoted?

That’s news to me. Don’t know where you heard that. Don’t think so. Why should they. Just need to change the pitch. Other ground development plans are in place also.

I'm sure it does but he's done a great job and, unusually, he has been manager two years longer than his father has been in charge too.

No question Alias he has done a fantastic job. But some other Chairman or owners may not have given him as much time. Time is what is needed and some owners in all tiers of football need to have a good hard look in the direction of Harrogate and realise changing managers like most people eat hot dinners is not the way to building a successful football team. Notts County are one those clubs.

They'll need a car park and ideally some traffic lights outside the ground or everybody will be stuck for ages behind someone wanting to turn right leaving the ground.

Well done Harrogate Town. I'll never hear the last of it from Harrogate Rover at the Keepmoat when we return.........That's providing he doesn't do a runner and turns his back on us in favour of the league newcomers!

I doubt it somehow though, he's Rovers mad!

Thoroughly enjoyed the game this afternoon and Harrogate Town were worthy winners .

It will be some occasion when they welcome Bradford City to Wetherby Road next season as a football league club .

Betty's tea room will be rocking tonight .

 :woohoo:
