Yet more evidence of how corrupt this lousy government is.
The sad thing is absolutely nothing will be done about it and it won't make any headlines because this is the new normal when you've got t**ts like Jenrick making the rules.

And also the t**ts that voted in a way that enabled them to have an 80 seat majority that refuse to see the evidence of this corruption that is smacking them in the face on a daily basis. If this was any other Country there would be disorder on the streets, our population just seems to eat every turd thrown at them. Could you see the people of France accepting this shit?

And yet 44% of the (voting) public support them. Bizarre.

Probably the 44% remember the 15 years of Labour rule when they tried to change the world for the not better, left the country in a bankrupt state and swathes of their heartlands bereft of jobs and a migrant policy very few agreed with.
Mandelson  meddling and lining his pockets at the same time and  London becoming the centre of ambition of the Labour Party and investment to the disadvantage of the rest of the country and their accelerated closure of the heavy industries in the midlands and the north of England, all are things that are remembered by a lot of the 44%, probably why the younger socialists wanting to spend their money have stated their ambition for them to die, which is another reason the older generations are saying b*****ks.

So correct me if I am wrong here Selby but you say what is important to 44% of voters is what happened over 10 years ago and they do not care about:

10 years of Tory Austerity that have run down the NHS and all other public services
10 years of flogging off a large part of those public services to give a worse service but massive profit to a small no of individuals
Failing to plan for a pandemic even though a major exercise said the govenment needed to
The highest excess death toll from the pandemic they failed to plan for - in the world
Awarding government contracts to Tory donors and associates without tendering - wasting the taxpayers millions
Awarding governmen contracts to Tory donors and associates who could not fullfill those contracts - wasting taxpayer millions
Overuling local planning officers to benefit Tory property developer donors - illegally - thus proposing changing the law in favour of those donors
Awarding honours to donors, friends and cronies - including the son of a KGB agent and a terrorist sympathiser and paedophile apologist
Suppressing a report on funding of terrorism in the UK
Receiving £ millions in donations from Russian oligarchs with connections to Putin

People support all this - well done

Don’t expect a reply from him, he does n’t deal in facts and would rather be spoon fed by the right wing media

Nobody cares. That's the sad thing. Nobody actually gives a shit, even when it's right in front of their eyes. It seems like the country is so numb to it at this point.

It was the labour party policies that they introduced that has left the NHS with massive debts to private companies not the Tories and is responsible for massive amounts of money being taken out of front line services to fund debt.

As someone who voted Tory, do I support the above, a resounding NO, did I feel that other parties put up a credible alternative at the time of the election, NO as well. Maybe instead of continous whining on here those of you who are Labour members might want to reflect on voting your previous leader in and what that did to Labours election chances. Elections are lost not won in this country and a party has to appeal to the masses, not just its membership.

That's almost beyond belief. True Banana Republic incompetence and graft.

And when the Govt is caught bang to rights, they just lie. Tweets /15 and /16 in that thread.

As for Selby, I'm beginning to think he's one of those low grade Russian bots. Ones with only four responses built into them.

Whatever the topic, he never engages with the detail. Just says.

1) Labour...debt.
2) Whatever we've got here, it's worse in Germany.
3) Immigrants
or
4) I hate young people.

Number 1 on Selby Bingo in this thread.

Ldr.

The Labour party membership HAS reflected and it's elected an entirely different leader with an entirely different approach.

No point going over old ground now. The question is, will you support this Govt in future?

Yet more evidence of graft and corruption by the way. From that socialist rag The Times.

https://mobile.twitter.com/ManuMidolo/status/1291317889056858115

It is utterly out of control. Never, ever seen anything like this. And remember that Johnson gave a peerage to Temerko's adviser last week.

Yet again, the very first sentence shouts ignorance of the facts so that everything after that can safely be disregarded.

Are talking about PFI? You know, that policy that was introduced by a Conservative government?

Well when my friend was laughed out of a top meeting while representing a county council about the funding for Pinderfield Hospital when objected to the financial deal in the 1990's in London and was moved from his job.
The last time we were talking about it the debt was over £50 million and climbing.

Which brings me back to my original question.

Why do 44% of the voting public in the most recent polls support the party that are responsible for all the above actions?* Do they approve of lies, incompetence & corruption? Or do they not care?

*45% in the poll out today

I do think it is also worth pointing out that every penny of the £32,796,475 (plus £6 mill Gift Aid) Capt Sir Tom Moore raised has been lost to this.

And still 44% of people support them. Remarkble.
