evePASS is an ap we are using at the junior football matches. It works by downloading and installing the pass from the Apple Store or Google Play (free). The organizers of the match then display a
QR code which you then scan with your phone all you do then is enter the number in your group. You can then be traced if there are any reports of a positive test for COVID. I thought this is something the club could do outside each turnstile, you just scan the code as you go through.

All supporters will have to pre-register before match day and declare themselves free of Covid.  You won't be able to just turn up. Contact details will already be captured.

It's possible you'll be given an entry time slot which you will have to adhere to and possibly an exit time slot too. Turning up 5 minutes before kickoff will be a no-no.

I could in all faith say I was covid free at any point as I have been isolating and don't think I have been in a position to come into significant contact with potential carriers. Its just my word. Also if I come into the ground via turnstile 9 at 2.30pm as agreed and get contacted by the club to say someone who also entered the ground at the same time/turnstile has tested positive how far does the net spread? They could be sat yards way from me for 90 minutes..it needs a very robust risk assessment undertaken by the club as there are a lot of factors to consider. Irrespective of whether the food/bars are open everyone needs the loo in winter!

We've yet to see the details, although we have a (virtual) meeting on Tuesday to do that.

I did say that given an exit time may be a possibility and is one of the considerations.

But the difficulty for all clubs is entry, passage through the concourse to the seats, and vice versa. We can't all leave at the same time that's a guarantee.

Will they use turnstiles or are they just going to open the fire doors initially? as you've got to touch the turnstiles to get through. Though I guess if you control when people are allowed to turn up then you can give yourself time to clean them.

Wouldn't want to be a part of these decisions at all.

Hey SM, I know you said that being given an exit time was a possibility and to be fair, it is just as important as an entry time I guess to keep fans from bunching up.
I mentioned the fans who leave early because inevitably they will still want to “beat the traffic” or “not going to sit an watch that rubbish”.
You can imagine the stewards sending them back to their seats and making them wait.

As I've mentioned numerous times on this forum over the last few weeks the SGSA appendix to the Green Guide has all the information that sports clubs need to adhere to when the time comes to admit supporters into the stadiums.

We'll be giving out that information very shortly, so that all supporters who intend to visit the Keepmoat will know what that looks like long before we get there. Hopefully those who aren't sure will get some confidence from the procedures that will be implemented.

It's going to be a whole new world for most of us. Hopefully it won't be too long before we get much closer to the normal.
