Hartlepool away on a Tuesday night in the JPT, the season we won it. I’ve never been as cold in my life. There were penguins drinking from a hip flask. 😳

no where on earth is as cold and wet as the visitors stand at boundary Park

Grimsby when the North wind blows off the Estuary 🤪

York City when it hammers it down with rain on a winters night.

Christ. That just reminded me of when they knocked us out the Carling cup (whatever version it was) the other year when Rob Jones was in charge.

We were absolutely shite & barely worked their keeper.

Lost 0-1.

I was there mate, which is why I suggested it.

My train ticket got soaked and was barely legible after the game. The ticket bloke must've let me off out of pity when he saw the badge on my coat.

We've endured some crap as a set of supporters, haven't we.

Wouldn't change it for the world.

Character building!

I was in the directors’ box for that game...still can’t decide whether I lucked out or actually missed out on one of those “I was there” moments. I suppose technically I was there, just in a nice dry spot!

So JJ can play before he goes to England match next Tuesday.
Strong side with Okeneberie up front and JJ wide Taylor on the bench.

One of those situations when you can't help thinking Lawlor will have a big part to play one way or another!

Strong XI so hope for a good performance with a goal or two! Really hope Fejiri comes alive.

Sorry to be pedantic mate, but I don't think it was the League Cup(Carling or otherwise), I think it was the same p*sspot cup that we're playing in tonight, which was why I didn't go that night.

Port Vale now 2 up, which is where we should have been on Saturday, after 30 mins.

We’re playing what we’ve got, Hound. Side picks itself at the moment.

No Amos, Bursik, Lokilo, Tulloch or James.

I hope we’re due at least one more loan in!

If we don't get a couple in Alan, we'll pay for it sooner or later. We're far too light as a squad.

Dominating the game. Same as Saturday. Should be winning comfortably but our finishing is very poor again.

Similar to Saturday, didn't take our chances in the first half and then have just been sloppy all over the pitch in the second half.

We can obviously only play for one half, very disappointing 2nd half. Feared the worst when we missed all those chances when dominating the game. We need to step up!  :headbang:

The writing is on the wall DM , not enough ability or creativity up front . Stats say we should have hammered Oldham the results say the opposite !!!
