Our home record against Blackpool is absolutely appalling.

In the last 10 home games against them (9 in league and 1 in cup) going back to October 2009, we have somehow managed to win 1, draw 2 and lose 7.

Our solitary win in that run was 2-0 in League One almost exactly two years ago (27 November 2018) with goals from Herbie Kane and John Marquis.

The two draws were good games though from memory. Both 3-3, I believe.

Yes, J. In the first game, JET scored a brilliant solo goal for Blackpool.

3 points would be very welcome. I hope Whiteman is more prominent and we get the ball to Sims more often. Seemed to be long periods v Sunderland that he didn't get a touch, with more coming down the right.

Would be a bonus if we had JJ on the bench to keep Fejiri on his toes.

Another tough game but one the players should be relishing!

I said on Saturday & I’ll say it again tonight - this is shite!
We look absolutely clueless.
Their goalie could be wrapping his Xmas presents!

Comments like that DD will have certain posters referring to you as embarrassing. It’s been awful again. We look totally clueless.  I just hope we improve significantly in the second half.

They have done exactly what Sunderland did. No space for us to play football and Smith, Sims, Copps and Whiteman who are superb players are making some awful errors under pressure.

Everything about that second goal was just wrong. Losing possession, zero midfield, keystone cops defending and keeping.

Second half will be better!

It's not much fun watching the ball bounce off Fej and go straight back to the opposition.

Even less fun seeing an aerial ball come towards him knowing he's not going to get anywhere near it.

Can't say that i'm looking forward to being allowed back in the ground if this is the standard of football that is going to be on offer, utter rubbish.

Whatever DM said at HT did the trick.

What a brilliant 2nd half. This team keeps going to the final whistle, and is showing the type of character that gives you a great chance of getting promotion.

What a contrast of two halves
First half was dreadful
Second half was excellent

We’re just not suited to fannying about with it in our own box, we don’t have the players.
Get the ball into our better players and let us hurt them with the players that can

Sims poor 1st half but outstanding in the 2nd.

What is up with Copps. He has had more mis placed passes this season than in the last 17 put together.

Not just Copps in first half. The quarter of him, Sims, Whiteman and Smith were all equally dreadful in first half. Awful.

I just wish we would get going from the first whistle as well.

Made one change and different side more pace, sorry these performances by Copps is showing he’s slipping away. Okenbirhie passenger and doing nothing in his overall game to stop JJ get back in when ready.

I haven't watched the game, so I have nothing to give on the performance, but we must've had something about us in the second half to win after being 0-2 down?

To say Blackpool were in the shit not so long ago, they seem to have some decent League One standard players.

Decent 3 points. Another W with 2 games in hand over some teams. Just the small matter of free-scoring Hull City away next in the league.

COYR!!!!

Richard's changed the game for us, also putting James out wide worked, why he starts in CM I dont know!

Pleased we don’t have VAR in League 1
Would have been a hand ball by BH near the end.

We were due a bit of luck against Blackpool. They have been a bogey for us for far too long.
Can we play them at home on a Tues last week in November every year please.
27/11/18 & 24/11/20 only wins at home in 10.

Hull are due a big defeat. Well any defeat. Wish we could be there next week to see that one.
Always enjoy our trips to the KC stadium.

Because the manager must have felt that Richards not ready for 90mins. He will be now ready for Saturday.

Great comeback win. One of the best. Just shows when we up the tempo. It's not necessarily about playing square pegs in round holes but the pegs performing the way we know they can.

We know DM has limited options so don't know why folk bang on about it. Leave Cameron John at left back out of it. Get used to it. You can't use that to blame every poor performance on.

I'm all for fair criticism and the first half wasn't up to scratch albeit Blackpool were on it and the ref fell for Madines antics.

So pleased justice was done and how they had the gaul to complain when Halliday bought a free kick late on beggars belief.

We needed that!

Needed to win that after a poor display v Sunderland. 4 points looks very good out of these two games. Think we'd all have taken that before playing them especially given injuries

The criticism isn’t without merit though is it.
We have only played well in one half of those last two matches.
Four points is good but the level of performance hasn’t been.

Terrible terrible first half but with that Ref doling them out a Pen which looked dubious at best didnt help

Also morngy moungy Madine was no helping

I had them to be leading at HT but Rovers to win at FT but the 2nd goal looked to have been a killer

However what a transformation - bang 1-2 bang 2-2 then we had to be patient and we were. At 1-2 Cash out was 73p and I staked a quid. It went to 8.63 at 2-2 and I was hoping. Then it went down and down to under £5

Then bang 3-2 - up it shot to 23.50 and I cashed out delirious that I had won and mourngy Madine hadnt despite all his cynical antics
