Just listened. Honest, to the point and I’m pleased with what Gavin is saying.

Very Interesting listen-I think we are privileged to have a chief exec who has such awareness and is willing to share his operational strategies with us fans.

Very good honest and open interview re finances and the running of the club. Let’s the EFL monies are available soon and has Gavin says grants should be the way to go not loans. We also hope that we can keep in touch with the playoffs also get a good draw tonight.

Well spoken as always. I hope most supporters realise and appreciate the value of Gavin. His honesty, integrity and genuine care for the staff, players and supporters of DRFC is imho second to none.

There is a need to be careful about any future financial payouts to the EFL being based upon a % allocation, with Project Big Picture still ticking away in the background;
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55131356

If the one club, one vote model is changed, the big clubs will negotiate their own broadcasting deal.
The key detail is here;
"If that was to happen, the 25% EFL distribution might not mean much," says one source. "If the big clubs decided they were selling their own games themselves, the central broadcast income would dwindle very quickly. Twenty-five percent of nothing is nothing."

Not an immediate threat to the current offer, but this needs to be watched in the long game.

Now reported on BBC:

Mad that a f**king glaring error in the headline is still there a day later.

Sadly pretty ordinary for the BBC nowadays. Their editorial standards have fallen spectacularly in recent years.

Spot on.

In the supporter organisations I belong to there is considerable envy that the supporters of DRFC have the relationship with CEO, owners, and senior staff that we do.
