I would change the system until we can get all the players back from injury, when we started to play with two up top we looked far better and gave them problems.A starting line up of:Lumley Halliday Wright Anderson JamesWhitemanCopps Smith SimsJohn-Joules Fejeri This would give us more of an attacking threat and ensure the opposition can’t give a high press.
The last time we played Northampton away was in the 2017/18 season. After 5 games they didn't have a single point on the board. Then the DRFC charity road show rolled into Town ,and even though we kicked off, we were 1 -0 inside 24 seconds. The game ended up in a predictable 1-0 defeat.

So what plan B would you use with 11 of those thirteen players.

Danny Rose and Joe Mills aside, can’t say I recognise any of their players.
Expecting a response after the Hull game by trying to get flowing football going again.I think DM will play the best XI available to him from the off which could indeed mean a start for both Fejiri and JJ. There should be enough flexibility there along with Simms to be playing a front 3 when in possession. Once again, our success will depend on how well we move the ball from back to front with Halliday and John/James providing width. How well they penetrate towards Northampton box will be a marker for how the game is going. Our first touch and pass will have to be better than Wednesday so if we can get back up to our normal standards we should get enough chances to win the game.

How lucky were we with that sending off. It was a 50/50 Terrible pass to Butler. Should have been a yellow. Don’t think it it had been our player we would have been happy.
