Excuse me, but I’m supposed to be negative!

We’re winning 2-0 away and yet people are not satisfied. We’ve a paper thin squad, we’re scraping the barrel of who we can select and we’ve played 3 games in 6 days!

What do you expect - Barcelona?

Get a f*****g grip.

Couldn't have said it any better Alan!

EfD...easily pleased? We're 2-0 up. Maybe football isn't the game for you.

Am I pleased we are 2-0 up. Yes of course.
Do I think we have played well and we have played good football No

Northampton are a throw back to years ago.
Kick and chase.

A decent amount of teams above us dropping points as it stands...

Yep and if it stays the same Peterborough are on their way - from memory - to a fifth loss in 6 games.

The ultimate aim in professional football is to win. For me, how we achieve this is immaterial.

We've been fine since going 1-0 up. Dominated the ball, kept it simple and patient and we exploited a gap through that patience to find a way to a second goal. Can't ask for much more on a shite pitch against a bunch of clodders in my opinion.

Very unusual for Ben to miss a pen but it is fair to say that if that pen was missed in the prem it would have been retaken. Both the keepers feet were off the line before Ben struck the ball

Peno for Donny

Saved.

Is that Ben's first miss?
let's get Ben's penno misses out of the way when the game is going our way..., and not when the game is on a knife edge...

He would miss the day we put a bet on! Nevermind. It's a good save.

Then why didn’t the linesman flag? Only asking, as that is one of the main reasons why he is standing there!

Whiteman to score in a Donny win! Thought it was nailed on when the ref pointed to the spot.

That’s a question only the Lino can answer. I’d assume it’s because it’s easier for him not to at the level that we play at. Not that it makes it right.

What I don't like is the situation where we are always just outside the top  6 but with games in hand,  psychologically, the difference actually being in the play off places gives the players a lift..

It’s not been a great watch, we just don’t seem ourselves at the moment - you can’t argue with the results though, always happy with three points! :bbscarf:

Clean sheet will give the team some confidence, plus 4th best goal difference in the league as well...  Imagine if we were actually playing well?

Fantastic result. The football was great to watch and I enjoyed every second of it. We played really well.

Right I am off now to feed the unicorns.

A win is a win, we have to be grateful for the red card, we huffed and puffed against a poor side with ten men, pleased we won, but we have to be better than that
