It's not widely known for but for anybody who has a Firestick the Amazon Silk web browser will work as a way of watching it on TV. Just a bit of a fiddle going to the site and logging in if you're using a firestick remote to navigate, but I've managed it.
No you don’t.Log onto the DRFC homepage as if you were buying a normal match ticket. Follow the pages to “next match” and “watch love now” and pay your tenner. Just watch on the device you logged in with.

For the reason I mentioned, I’m sure I read somewhere that it was to stop illegal viewing

I bought a Chrome cast device and use Chrome browser. No cables required and it casts through a brick wall to my TV, not had a single problem with this arrangement all season. Got help from one forum member which I shouldn't have needed because it really is the simplest thing in the world to do, but typical me I was thinking it needed fancy footwork to get it to work.

I too have gone the smart TV way. Its very easy to get on the site and with a 55" OLED screen the quality of picture is superb.
