Ground number 72

This young fella is running from ground to ground of all the 92 league clubs, the Keepmoat is No.72.
Today he completed his run from Scunthorpe to the Keepmoat, he’s  resting tomorrow and then he sets off again to the New York stadium on aTuesday morning.
His charity is MIND. I went along to watch him arrive at the Keepmoat and think that he deserves a little praise from the Rovers fans. He’s a Rochdale fan and he will complete his target at Rochdale, so he’s only got another 20 grounds to run to.

I helped out a little when Coops and his mate did the 92 bike ride a few years back (in June & July) and that looked hard work.

But running it, in December, thats something else. A fantastic achievement if/when he completes it.

I was talking to his mum at the Keepmoat today, she told me that his family nickname is ‘Bonkers’

Apparently the guy was held up and didn’t set off from the Keepmoat till later, I managed to get to the ground for 11.15am and waited till just after 11.30am so I thought that I’d missed him, he’s managed to get to Rotherham to notch up ground number 73.

I was in the car park too from 10 30 till 11 30 I missed him as well  but we’ll done to him getting to Rotherham
