Mr Wiggerly, no matter how much you wiggle it won't change the fact that you're wrong, as usual. I can't for the life of me understand why you're such a bad loser after all the vast experience you have of it.

Mr Wiggerly, despite your frequent experiences of being wrong it appears that your sophomania remains intact. A big symptom of that is the sufferer continues to wiggle along and then claims victory when his opponent stops replying through sheer boredom.

He feels unbeatable when the real reason is he's unbearable.

I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave some moments ago.

PS Only one person has 'claimed victory' in this thread and it ain't me.  I presume anyone who reads the thread will spot who it was.

A government adviser who was sacked after a confrontation with Dominic Cummings says she was "never given a reason" for her dismissal.

Sonia Khan, who was escorted from Downing Street by a police officer, told BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour the incident set "a dangerous precedent".

She reached an out of court settlement with the government in November 2020.

Downing Street said ministers should be able to sack advisers "if they lose confidence in them".

This was a "long-standing provision of successive governments", a No 10 spokesperson added.

A bit rich from a government that has trashed conventions L,R & C.

There's been a lot of work going into making us lose trust in organisations this last few years. Much of it coming from very strange sources.

Have a look at this thread.

It gets back to people allowing themselves to be persuaded to support moves that will in the end undermine their own position and be a retrograde step.

added: persuaded/manipulated

do you think he has broke the rules?

Is 7 miles away 'his local area'?

Derbyshire police don't think so when they fine walkers from 5 miles away.

I love the irony in that report about Johnson.

He goes out for a jolly old cycle ride halfway across London from his home. And apparently, while there, he was concerned at how many people were out there not sticking to the rules.

The lack of self-awareness would be astounding in anyone who hadn't built a life and a career on denying the truth.

Halfway across london lol you really do stoop low to score points, can you show me where in the rules it says you can’t cycle 7 miles? If you do I will of course apologise, cycling is very good for you mental health and general well being, but if you count it as just a jolly outing so be it

Bpool

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home#exercising

"You should not travel outside your local area".

I live 2 mile from the Peak District. I have the homes of, maybe 50,000 people between me and the Peak District. I've taken that Govt guidance to mean that i should not travel to the Peak District for exercise.

Johnson lives 7 miles from that park. With the homes of maybe 2 million people between him and there.

Defend him by all means if you want, but I'm seriously starting to think that with you, it's never about trying to establish what it correct - it's about wanting the other side to be wrong.

He is on a push bike lol, when rovers play Scunthorpe would you class that as a local derby? I wonder if there are any cyclists on this forum that have travelled 7 miles?and the guidelines do not state you can’t travel there do they?

The guidance says this is "your village, town or the part of a city where you live".

This should be done locally wherever possible, but you can travel a short distance within your area to do so if necessary.

Public outdoor places where you can conduct your daily exercise includes:

parks, beaches, countryside accessible to the public, forests
public gardens (whether or not you pay to enter them)
the grounds of a heritage site
playgrounds

If he wanted to cycle seven or more miles, what was stopping him from doing it in a circle and therefore staying in his local area?

Which of those categories do the miles of urban streets he cycled down to get to the Olympic Park fall into?

I see, get a question you can't truthfully answer and so you turn round and want someone else to answer it instead.

Coward.
