Yep,fantastic double save, and a couple of other great saves,Kicking a bit suspect at times, but I can see that getting better with DM's coaching team, and that was his first appearance for us and gets a clean sheet against a championship team away.Well done Ellery,as everybody else who played today.

Only 1 game but he looks a lot more assured than Bursik did. That double save was superb, big imposing presence in the area too.

He needs to work on distribution, too many aimless kicks, but what a double save! He will make a cracking No.1 for this season.

One thing that worried me slightly (alongside the kicking) was when Anderson headed onto the bar he seemed to just stand and watch the corner go over his head. Seemingly no attempt to punch or catch it, and I don’t think he looked as though he was being fouled by a Blackburn player to prevent him going for it. No idea why that would have happened but doesn’t give me confidence that he’s going to dominate his 6 yard box.

Made a few decent saves though and the reaction for the second of the double save was brilliant.

Overall distribution was below the standard expected and was extremely lucky to see the poor clearance straight at their forward be deflected just wide.
Good reflex save later however.

Yes, thought his saved were top drawer, however his kicking and distribution need working in , his 1st game though and I’m sure Darren and his team will sharpen that side of his game up if required.

Great with his hands, not so great with his feet. If we could combine him and Lumley we would have, well, Dieng.

That one Marosi made, low down from close range.

just wondering though if he hadn’t of saved the 2nd shot then plenty would have been saying that

First game with a team he's had a day or so with and he's going to be here all season I'll forgive him a few nerves and dodgy kicks :)  but that double save was top drawer

Was that the one from Toney?
Unlike many others I rated Marosi, if he only hadn't slipped at Charlton wonder where we might be now

Balcombe is here to develop, he's far from the finished article. He does have what it takes to be a class keeper at this level, fingers crossed he improves where he needs to. And he's only just arrived so there will be a lot he's learning about other players and how the team works. Great debut.

It was a brilliant second save, great reactions.
However, I’m no expert but I think he made a meal of the initial shot to be honest.

His kicking was way of the standard expected too.  He’s only young and I’m sure he’s learning, a clean sheet on his debut is great, but if we are picking bones at the performance, it was far from faultless.

Hope he does well.
