After leaving Elland Road after a 2-1 win and working out that four of our remaining seven games were at home celebrating thinking one more win could see us safe I never trust looking far ahead.
One point from seven games what odds would you have got on that?

If Accrington win all their games in hand they will be 6 points ahead of us. If we win all our games in hand - we will be level on points.

I said it a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately was proven right...we don't tend to take advantage of games in hand.

Personnel aside, we have a good run now with a week to recover and get the group together after COVID disruption, then a series of home games against average opposition, leading up to big test of Lincoln away at end of month.

If we win all our games in hand we will have a better goal difference than Lincoln so we definitely would be top.

Whilst I do think that he Is almost certain to go, at the moment Ben is still a Rovers player.

And if and when he does leave, I am almost certain we will fetch at least one midfielder in.

It does not matter as clubs lose a player as have to change there patterns of play as DM did, so it shows we can change our structure to suit

That’s one result. There’s no question that we would be weaker without Whiteman and Sims, and without replacements.

We have to start somewhere, so why not start with the first one. It just shows we have and can change things, I had my doubts we could but we did it so let’s see and move on to the future games starting with the next
