I forget if someone mentioned this, but he signed last week for King’s Lynn Town in the National League. Scored on his debut at the weekend in a 1-1 draw with Halifax.

At Stafford Rangers mid-table in Northern Premier League. Seems to be getting some degree of regular football, 33 league games this season. 4 goals and 3 assists. Somehow still only 26.

Such a shame that he got that awful disease. He was very lightweight and timid when he played for us but it's hardly surprising; he did very well to recover enough to play again. An old colleague of mine had it and she's in a wheelchair probably for the rest of her life.

It’s an awful disease certainly. He had already dropped way down from Chelsea to us, so you wonder whether this was having an impact before he was diagnosed. We’d only just been promoted back up to League One when we signed him I think.
