Just because the deadline is 12 doesn't mean we'll get to hear before 12.

Always tend to think we leave the announcements as late as poss anyway, to avoid giving our opponents a heads up and trying to fathom us out.

John was out of position for two of the goals yesterday. He’s still not a left back.

John has been excellent at left back over the past several months in L1.

SM said last week that we may have to be patient due to the fact that there are often last minute stumbling blocks. Without sounding over confident I feel that we should have enough to go and win the game tomorrow night. If we can get them over the line and a few days training into them before Saturday it would be a massive boost for us. Fingers crossed.

Yes, Deffo not a problem with what we've got for tomorrow.

Yes, it's us the fans that have to be patient as folk always assume no news is bad news when in reality the club are most likely totally in control of the situation.

It certainly exacerbates the situation when you have folk who make a living out of speculating and there's no consequences for them being wrong. That's aimed at the likes of Nixon not so much the DFP.

Without wanting to be disrespectful to Wimbledon I do agree although not too many players to come back. hopefully Richards and Simeones not playing a full game would have given them some rest time and another chance for Greaves to make another claim for the midfield place. I just hope DM has them well drilled to respect Wimbledon given how they nearly beat us at their place

Would be good to have some new faces and options in time for Lincoln though as we defo need them

I think we’re taking a lot for granted, if you start taking other sides lightly. We need bodies in, it’s as simple as that and 3 points tomorrow would be a massive lift for the lads, going into Saturday.

We had a hard game on Saturday and I’m not sure we can keep relying on the same lads over and over, as we’ll just get more injuries and performances will drop off.

I hope we can get a striker out of the two we are talking to  but it could be long and drawn out

Well, certainly, that’s a very good, positive start, however I would have liked him to have been available/ fit to play tomorrow night. It’s not o be, so we have to manage the best we can, in the meantime.

As for the other 2? I can see getting a striker being the most difficult as nobody wants to give strikers away for nowt! The other one being Simms of course and we all know what he can give us! Fingers continue to be crossed!

If we can get Sims and a striker who can play one-up properly (forget about his goal scoring record) then we are very well set given JJ aside, everyone is due back at the end of this month and we have passed the first suspension deadline.

Where is Gomes, he's been out an awful long time? he gave so much energy to the midfield, and goals.

Hi Wilts, how reliable is that report, as they still have Richie as Swindon manager.

I never trust clickbait.

Classic from DM though in the RS interview. “Can you confirm that Bakayoko is one you're trying to bring in? " Well I can't discuss players who are contracted to other clubs but yes, he's one of them on the list...."

The report is dated 24.01.21.

We’ll just have to wait a bit longer, but it would be nice to have everyone in by the Lincoln game.

Hi BB,

Yeah, saw that c**k up too! If that’s their level of reporting then Bagayoko ain’t going anywhere!

Always believe the word of a club's manager over a random website recycling second-hand information.

except when that manager is DM and he's decided to tell lots of porkies. Then believe no one.
